Sue Ellen Woodcock has over 20 years experience in newspapers and magazines where she was the staff photographer or the staff member designated to take the pictures needed (she was a reporter and editor too. She is also the author of three photo history books packed with old photographs.) She knows how a photograph tells a story or captures a moment to be enjoyed for years to come. Sue is returning to her roots (which do include working for two different portrait and wedding studios in the mid-80s), taking pictures of people and capturing the "decisive moment" in the action around her. The majority of her work is done digitally, but she is also keen on using film where she can. She holds an associate's degree in photography from Endicott College and a bachelor's degree in communications from Salem State College. She is a NEPA (New England Press Association) award winner and winner of an Excellence in Media Award from the National Down Syndrome Congress.
